Send matching website visitors to a support group or turn chat off for a matching context.
- Open Automate → Routing rules and create or edit a rule.
- Add URL, domain or country conditions as offered in the editor.
- Choose exact or contains matching where available and review AND and OR relationships.
- Choose the action: route to a support group or turn chat off.
- Use the built-in test with a representative URL and country. Inspect the effective group, action and reason.
- Save, check rule ordering and enabled states in the list, then test a new visitor session.
¶ Check the result and solve problems
A rule that turns chat off can hide an otherwise correctly installed widget. Test a matching URL and one that should not match. Domain, full URL and country conditions use different inputs; do not paste a whole URL into a domain-only field.
